See by Chloé fall 2012 were all about breezy fabrics and urban appeal. A color palette of olive-green, light grey, cerise, navy, taupe and white. Outerwear in oversized shapes, silhouettes flowing and nice textures matched with leather sleeves. Draped silk dresses and tops, cozy knits, and loosely tailored trousers and blazers.


Balenciaga presented a 80′s power inspired fall collection. Fantastic boxy jackets, semi-structured sweaters and monochrome rounded coats with contrast lining. Coats with puffed-up shoulders featuring bright dresses in electric blue and scarlet layered underneath. It was a mix of futuristic looks with metallic detailing and graphic prints, mid-length skirts and slouchy trousers.


Balmain fall 2012 contained Fabergé egg-inspired embellishment on the main part of the looks. Strong-shouldered jackets and mini dresses were covered in pearls, gold thread work and floral embroidery. With focus on a boxier silhouette – still slouchy, but structured and cleaner on oversized variations of leather moto jackets. Skin-tight dresses, velvet pants, quilting detailing, cuffed leather pants, fitted military dresses, and slim-lined trousers.


Dior showcased forties and fifties inspired silhouettes in an almost ballet-like collection. Color palette of taupe, black and burgundy were modern and soothing. Cinched jackets, pleated skirts, jewelry style embellishments, peplums, strappy shoes and soft pastels.


Isabel Marant, inspired by southwestern style and cowgirls, embraced feminine ruffles, floral detailing, casual denim and leather. Cowgirl floral embroidered silk button downs, cropped embroidered jeans, fringed suede and cut-out leather. A color palette with pops of scarlet, electric blue and pink. Satin tops with pearl buttons, slouchy cropped trousers, heeled cowboy-style ankle booties, minidresses and double-breasted bomber jackets.


Lanvin presented sculpted silhouettes, jewel encrusted garments, vibrant tones of electric blue, scarlet and canary yellow. Body conscious silhouettes and luxe detailing such as dramatic ruffles, fur and lace accents. The color palette became darker with inky blacks and dark metallic fabrics. Clean lined and impeccably tailored, peplums and sculpted collars look. The coats had rounded shoulders, exaggerated sleeves and high collars.
